LIFE-CHANGING TREATMENT WITH VITALITY PERSONALIZED CARE

Teeth-in-a-day®

Teeth-in-A-Day® is an advanced full-mouth dental procedure that replaces a full set of missing teeth with a permanent, fixed restoration in a single appointment. Using strategically placed implants, patients receive transitional teeth on the same day, allowing them to leave the office with a fully functional smile while their final custom restoration is being crafted. This approach not only restores chewing, speaking, and aesthetic function immediately but also supports long-term oral health by preserving jawbone structure and preventing the bone loss often associated with missing teeth.

What is Teeth-in-A-Day®?

Teeth-in-A-Day® is an innovative same-day full-arch dental implant restoration procedure where:

  • Remaining failing teeth are removed

  • Dental implants are placed in precise positions

  • A fixed set of teeth is attached the same day

This allows patients to leave surgery with a functional smile immediately.

Unlike traditional implant timelines, which can take several months, Teeth-in-A-Day® compresses the entire process into a single coordinated treatment plan and provides immediate stability and natural function

This advanced treatment includes several proven protocols:

  • All-On-4®: Four strategically placed implants per arch

  • All-On-6®: Six implants per arch

  • TeethXpress®: Enhanced implant positioning for optimal support

  • Vitality Teeth® Treatment: Our most advanced treatment option combining precision planning with cutting-edge techniques

Why Teeth-in-A-Day Matters

Beyond Cosmetics: Protecting Your Overall Health

Missing teeth create serious health consequences beyond appearance. Without treatment, patients experience

  • Progressive bone loss in the jaw

  • Periodontal disease

  • Receding gums

  • Compromised digestive function affecting overall health

  • Compromised speech and confidence

Teeth-in-A-Day® addresses the full scope of issues related to tooth loss, preventing further complications while restoring both function and aesthetics and allowing patients to return to normal life without extended downtime.

Teeth in a Day vs Traditional Dental Implants

Traditional dental implant treatment often requires multiple procedures over several months, sometimes leaving patients without fixed teeth during healing.

Teeth in a Day offers a different approach:

  • Same-day fixed teeth

  • Fewer surgical stages

  • Immediate improvement in function and appearance

It is designed for patients who want a complete transformation without a prolonged treatment timeline.

The Teeth-In-A-Day® Procedure

Consultation and Planning
We perform a comprehensive evaluation using 3D imaging to assess your bone structure and develop a customized treatment plan.

Surgery and Same-Day Teeth
Dental implants are placed, and a fixed temporary set of teeth is attached the same day.

Our streamlined three-step process delivers permanent results in one day:

Step 1: Tooth Extractions (if necessary) Any remaining damaged or failing teeth are carefully removed.
Step 2: Implant Placement Four to six titanium or zirconia (ceramic) dental implants are strategically positioned in each arch to provide maximum support.
Step 3: Same-Day Tooth Restoration A custom-designed, fixed set of teeth is attached to your implants on the same day, allowing you to leave our office with a complete, functional smile.

Healing and Final Restoration
After healing, your final custom-designed teeth are placed for long-term durability and aesthetics.

Rapid Recovery and Results

Teeth-in-A-Day offers virtually no downtime. Most patients resume normal activities the next day while enjoying their new smile immediately.

Which Full-Arch Implant Protocol Is Right for You: Immediate Final Zirconia Teeth (24 Hours) or Temporary Teeth Followed by Final Zirconia (3–4 Months)?

Temporary full-arch implant teeth (also called provisional or transitional prostheses) serve as the blueprint for the final zirconia restoration.

Because temporary prostheses are typically made from acrylic, they are softer than zirconia. This can help reduce excessive forces on the implants during the healing phase. During this period, the surrounding jawbone is still integrating with the implants through a process called osseointegration. Managing forces during this healing period is an important part of protecting the long-term success of implant treatment.

Another advantage of wearing a temporary fixed full-arch prosthesis is that it gives patients the opportunity to evaluate the appearance, bite, speech, and comfort of their new teeth in everyday life. Any desired changes can be made before the final restoration is fabricated.

Once all adjustments have been completed, the temporary prosthesis becomes the blueprint for designing highly accurate, customized zirconia teeth.

A fixed, screw-retained temporary full-arch prosthesis also allows patients to eat, speak, and smile with confidence immediately after implant surgery while their implants heal.

Comparing the protocols

Feature

Temporary to Final (3–4 Months)

Immediate Final Zirconia (24 Hours)

Gum Tissue Healing

Excellent. The final teeth are shaped to fit gums after shrinking and healing are complete.

Risky. Gums shrink significantly post-surgery, often leaving gaps under the final bridge later.

Implant Safety

High. Softer PMMA/acrylic absorbs bite force, protecting integrating implants.

Moderate to Low. Rigid zirconia transfers 100% of micro-movements straight to unhealed bone.

Esthetic & Bite Control

Perfected over time. You can tweak the look, speech, and bite over several weeks.

"One Shot." Whatever is milled in 24 hours is highly difficult and costly to change later.

Convenience

Requires a second appointment series 3–4 months down the road.

Completed in a single day or two; fewer overall dental visits.

Are There Any Risks Involved With Immediate Final Zirconia Teeth Delivered 24–48 Hours After Implant Surgery?

While walking out with final teeth in 24 hours sounds appealing, this approach may introduce clinical challenges:

1. Changes in Gumline During Healing

After surgery, especially when teeth are extracted, the gums and bone undergo natural changes during the healing process. If a final zirconia bridge is created shortly after surgery, it is based on the condition of the tissues at that specific time.

As the tissue heals and changes, adjustments may be needed to maintain an ideal fit, appearance, and cleanability.

2. Limited Ability to Adjust Bite and Smile Design

Zirconia is an extremely strong and durable material, but it is not easily modified once it has been fabricated.

If the bite feels slightly different, the smile design needs adjustment, speech is affected, or changes are desired after living with the teeth, modifications to a zirconia restoration may require additional treatment.

A temporary (provisional) bridge allows these refinements to be made before the final restoration is created. Think of it as a "trial smile" or blueprint that allows you to evaluate appearance, comfort, bite, and speech in everyday life before investing in your permanent zirconia teeth.

The Verdict

An immediate final zirconia protocol may be appropriate in carefully selected cases and depends on factors such as surgical placement, digital impressions, and the individual healing response.

In contrast, using a temporary prosthesis for 3–4 months allows implants to integrate with the bone, gums to mature, and necessary refinements to be completed before the final zirconia bridge is fabricated.

For an investment of this magnitude, taking the time to perfect every detail helps ensure a beautiful smile, precise fit, optimal function, and a restoration designed for long-term success.

At Vitality, our approach is designed to prioritize implant healing, long-term function, and a customized final zirconia restoration that meets each patient's needs.

Teeth in a Day and the Vitality Teeth® Full-Mouth Implant Approach

While Teeth in a Day is commonly associated with approaches such as All-On-4®, not all same-day implant solutions are designed with the same long-term principles in mind.

At Vitality, we offer an advanced full-mouth implant approach that builds upon the concept of Teeth in a Day by focusing on long-term stability, precision, and customization.

The Vitality Teeth® method often utilizes additional implants to better support the restoration and, when anatomy allows, places them in parallel positions to improve force distribution across the arch. This approach is designed to reduce mechanical stress and enhance long-term performance.

Patients also have the option to choose between titanium and zirconia implants, allowing for both traditional and metal-free solutions based on individual preferences and clinical needs.

Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all protocol, every Vitality Teeth® case is carefully planned using advanced imaging and tailored to your specific anatomy, bite, and aesthetic goals.

For patients seeking a more refined and durable version of Teeth in a Day, the Vitality Teeth® approach represents a higher level of full-mouth implant care.

Benefits of Teeth-in-A-Day® Treatment

Many patients who were previously told they lack bone or are not eligible for implants can still be treated using advanced techniques.

A detailed consultation is the best way to understand your options.
